Long Week-end Visit

Story time with cousin S

The recent long week-end brought with it some very special visitors. Our girls' cousins, their parents, and Grandpa visited. The girls were on the receiving end of a lot if attention, gifts, and tasty treats. We even enjoyed a visit to a cabane à sucre, where the cousins tried maple taffy on snow for the first time.

Upon their departure, S1 asked when they would be returning...not soon enough!

Picture Perfect

When my Asia-based sister saw this photo, she mentioned that it looks like we live in the Arctic...Sometimes it feels like it!

Chaos and the New House

Over the last two weeks my baby started crawling, and my #2 learned to pronounce the letter S, thereby effectively pronouncing her own name. But I barely noticed, so incredibly busy were we with unpacking, staying out of the way of the painters, and simultaneously entertaining three little girls. My husband had a week off after the move, his very last week of parental leave, yet it didn't seem nearly enough.

But, at the very least, the playroom is almost ready...
