The Three Angels

We have an almost annual tradition of taking a photo of the girls at a photo studio. This time around, the girls did not want to wear the clothes I had brought, but instead chose the studio's white dresses. And with the whit ebackground, they look deceivingly angelic:

Two Teeth in Two Weeks

Our 5-year old lost her first tooth 2 weeks ago, and then lost a second one just a few days ago in the middle of her soccer practice. We were surprised by how quickly the teeth fell out. Her older sibling lost her first tooth at 61/2, and only after months of having a "loose tooth". Our three year old asked "when am I going to lose my teeth?"

First Swim Meet

On Wednesday, our 7-year old competed in her first swim meet. Not only did she complete the race, but she finished in third place in her heat. Her one and only event was the 25m freestyle, which she completed in 29 seconds. She then quickly dressed into her soccer outfit to make her soccer practice..

Unfortunately Mama was at work and Papa was at the soccer field with our 3-year old, but Auntie was there to capture the special moments:

Swim Season Begins

Swimming season has begun. Monday morning, despite the cool weather, the kids were excited to return to our summer community pool. The enjoyed meeting their new swim teachers, and our oldest joined the 8 and under swim team for the first time. In between lessons, my girls hung out with their cousins and friends on deck:
