What I Want To Be When I Grow Up

 This week, unprompted, my 8-year old declared "When I grow up I want to be a lifeguard during the summer and a teacher the rest of the year." She added, in french, "c'est ça ma rêve!"

Book Club

The girls joined the kids summer book club at the local library last week. In addition to receiving a bag full of treats (book marks, stickers, and pencils), they receive stickers and prizes for reading time. They also get entered into weekly draws for larger prizes (such as an amusement park pass). So far, the girls have read daily since joining the reading club, and we head over to the library on a weekly basis. Here are a few photos:
