Last Day of School!

How did it go so fast?! It is hard to believe that another school year has finished. While I look forward to not making lunches and working on projects, and doing three sets of homework with the girls, I will miss "alone time" as there will be no break from them for the next 9 weeks...

The Musical Week

This last Wednesday, the third annual musical festival took place at school. Named Ed-stock, this year's show starred kids from Kindergarten to grade 6, donned in neon colours and singing 80's songs. Our 9-year old barely opened her month, our 7-year old sang a little, and our 5-year old was one of the most expressive, singing and swaying to the music.  We were seated a little too close to one of the speakers, but the show was magical. The Ballerina

After a full year of dance lessons, our five-year old took part in her very first ballet show last Friday. Alice in Wonderland was brought to life by over 100 dancers. From 3-year olds to professional adult dancers, the choreography was awesome.

Our youngest was a "little card". She was worried that she would be forced to wear a large cardboard card over her dance leotard, and she was reassured once she donned her dress.
