Two End of Season Parties

This last week we had two end of season parties: The Summer Book Club on Thursday, and the Pool Awards Ceremony on Sunday.

The kids each received a certificate for having completed a certain number of hours, in addition to a book. The party included an interactive science presentation and blue cotton candy:

As for the awards ceremony at the pool, following a scrumptious meal, each child received a participation medal and walked the "parade of champions" around the pool to "Chariots of Fire". Additionally our #2 received the MVP honours for 8 & under girls.
#3 taking a bite of her medal.

All of her medals, with a friend.

The Girls Finally Go Camping

The first thing they asked upon their return: When can we go camping again?!

She had asked for a ballet-themed birthday party, and here is what we came up with:

Annual Photo Shoot

Every summer, a local photo studio has a summer promotion: One digital photo and session for approximately 35$. I have found that over the years, it is getting harder to get all three to smile. When they were infants, the would giggle at the site of a balloon or goofy face from the photographer's assistant. Now that they are older, the photographer has no assistant, and it is up them to decide on their pose...Here is this year's:
