No Pool, No Problem!

We might not have had a pool to weather the heat wave last week...But who needs a pool when you have a giant unicorn inflatable sprinkler?

In other news, our Premier announced today that public parks, pools and sprinkler pads will be opening this summer...

Finally Swimming Again!

After a two month break the girls finally went swimming. Curtesy of my cousin’s new backyard pool, the girls had a very refreshing swim a few days ago. Since then, they have been begging me to instal a backyard pool in our own. Easier said than done! Meanwhile, we are eagerly waiting to hear if the community pools will be opening this summer...

Week # 9: Lemonade

For Mother’s Day, I was treated to not one but two shows starring stuffed animals and voiced by my girls. Both shows involved treasures, a castle, a thief, and magical powers. Had they been watching too many fairytales?

Week 8: 2 Teeth and Some Snow

Week 8 brought two days of fluffy snow and two visits from the tooth fairy. Both #1 & #3 lost teeth this week. The youngest was dissatisfied with her tooth fairy gift, and requested another!

Week # 7

This week, the girls enjoyed a number of activities:

-Painting ceramic animals for the garden
-Bicycling and in-line skating (2 very warm days between the many rain days)
-Playing with Lego
-Playing with their dolls: they even set up a hair salon!
-Doing, but perhaps not enjoying homework...
