School is Over

 School is over:

-no more lunches

-no more reviewing three sets of homework 

-no more school runs

-no more staggered Pedagogical days between two different schools

I seem to be more excited about the kids, who already miss their teachers and school friends!

Since school let out, they requested an outing to the local farm to go strawberry picking:

Gender Reveal Cupcakes

 Today the girls had a special treat. Their very first gender reveal cupcakes. They were homemade and hand delivered by their aunt today, and hidden inside were coloured sprinkles. All they had to do was to take a few bites…




And so it was that they discovered that they will soon have a girl cousin to play with…

Home Isolation

 Approximately 10 days ago, we found out that there had been a COVID outbreak in the grade 5 classrooms. So it was that our 11-year-old had to isolate at home and attend school virtually until later next week. Her sisters were also obliged to stay home until she tested negative, but she has adapted remarkably well. Our youngest has also grown closer to our middle child as neither are allowed too close to their oldest sister. Here are a few photos of the siblings bonding:
