The Girls do a Cross-Country race

 The two younger ones were invited to participate in a regional cross-country race. Last month, the entire school participated in a Phys-Ed activity: 2km for the older ones around a nearby soccer pitch. They both placed in the top 8 of their grades, and were thus invited to the regional event. The day was sunny, but not too warm, and they enjoyed the festive ambiance. The raced through a forest by a local beach. Here are a few photos:

Apple Picking on a Ped Day

The Girls Make their first Camp Fire

 Right before the start of the new school year, we went on a last minute camping trip. We stayed in a hybrid cabin-tent with bunk beds for the girls. The highlight was roasting marshmallows over a fire that they made with a little help from Mama and Papa. Here are a few photos of the fun-filled

Another School Year Begins

The Girls Meet a Mini Horse

 My cousins recently purchased a mini-horse and recently invited us for a visit. While the girls were unable to ride her due to her small size, they were nonetheless impressed with this gentle creature. They enjoyed brushing, walking and feeding her:

Corn & Blueberries

A few days ago, we decided to go blueberry picking at our favourite local farm. Much to our surprise, corn was also in season and so we went « corn picking » for the first time ever…
