First Snow

 And so it was that we unexpectedly got a lot of snow this week. Here are a few photos of the girls enjoying the snowfall with their cousin during a Ped Day:

Happy Halloween!

 For the first time in about five years, the weather has been favourable on Halloween. And so it was that we wandered door to door for over two hours collecting much too much candy!

The Girls Celebrate Their Cousin’s Birthday

 The girls helped their one-year old cousin celebrate a very important birthday. Here are a few photos:

The Girls do a Cross-Country race

 The two younger ones were invited to participate in a regional cross-country race. Last month, the entire school participated in a Phys-Ed activity: 2km for the older ones around a nearby soccer pitch. They both placed in the top 8 of their grades, and were thus invited to the regional event. The day was sunny, but not too warm, and they enjoyed the festive ambiance. The raced through a forest by a local beach. Here are a few photos:

Apple Picking on a Ped Day

 Although only2 of the girls had a Pedagogical day, we took advantage of the nice weather to pick some apples. Here ara a few photos of the trip to a local farm:

The Girls Make their first Camp Fire

 Right before the start of the new school year, we went on a last minute camping trip. We stayed in a hybrid cabin-tent with bunk beds for the girls. The highlight was roasting marshmallows over a fire that they made with a little help from Mama and Papa. Here are a few photos of the fun-filled

Another School Year Begins

 Not just another school year…this one marks a milestone. Our oldest is officially in High School (starts in grade 7 in our province) , and I think that I am more worried than she is. Here are a few photos of their first day:
