The Girls Learn a New Word

 This last Friday, the girls’ school held a « kermesse ». I had never heard this word either, so, in fact, we all learned a new word! The end of year carnival proved to be good fun: free ice cream and activities. While the parents weren’t invited to attend, here are some photos after the event:

The Girls Return to Top Cup

 After a three year hiatus, the girls returned to the only national 10 & under swim meet in Canada. Last time we were there the older two participated, but this time around, our 12 year- old was a spectator. Here are some photos from the meet that our swim club won:

Chef for a Day

 Our youngest had to prepare a video presentation this last week for school. She had to choose a healthy recipe and go over the steps. And be creative. Here she is, our little chef, showing her classmates how to make banana-oat-chocolat chip cookies:

From Sand to Snow

 Over the recent long weekend, we strolled to a nearby beachside park. The girls enjoyed skipping stones and playing in the park. Little did they know that the very next day would bring a snow storm…in spring!
